British 3D mixed-media artist Sue Haskel has been represented by TAG Fine Arts and her work has regularly been exhibited at The Affordable Art Fairs in London, New York and Hong Kong.
She has exhibited at several London-based art exhibitions and sold several hundred works. Sue also enjoyed a three-month solo show in The Plateaux Gallery, within Thomas Goode in Mayfair. Sue exhibits at selected Affordable Art Fairs with tripod Gallery (Instagram @tripodgallerylondon).
Sue’s work is in private collections worldwide. Her private collectors include a former chairman of the Tate Gallery, Lord Stevenson. He says about her work:
“It’s rare to come across work which is at the same time unpretentious yet original. Sue uses paper so as to create beautiful and three dimensional work. Both of the pieces we have bought off her are hanging in our house and are giving great pleasure to us, our family and friends.”
Sue also made a wedding gift for Tamara Ecclestone to give to her sister Petra on the occasion of Petra’s wedding to Samin July 2022. Tamara commented “She loves it so much!”
With a background in marketing and interior design Sue’s 3D mixed media work is primarily in paper and metal. Sue is inspired by the interplay between pattern and repetition, light and shadow, contrast and texture. She gathers ideas from her surroundings – from urban cityscapes to the natural world. Her themes are wide-ranging and include books and records, pyramid structures, leaves, fish and butterflies.
Sue is happy to undertake commissions and her book and record designs lend themselves perfectly to incorporating personal or themed photos to make an impactful, personal and meaningful piece for your home or as special gifts for friends and family.
