I began my jewellery making during lockdown as I wanted an outlet through which I could
create unique and symbolic designs. I attended St Albans School of Jewellery, with
teachers from St Martin’s School of Art.
I enjoy making pieces which add meaning to life and use dimension and movement to
create symbolism. I hope the wearer identifies with that meaning and feels a natural bond
with the jewellery.
My Hamsa hand pillow pendant was inspired by my travels at the start of the Ukraine war
and is a sign that protects the wearer from evil. It is a universal sign of protection, power
and strength.
The snake jewellery symbolises a desire for eternal youth and immortality. I enjoy creating
movement in my snakes which appear to be entwined with the wearer.
I have experimented with designs for love and commitment with the traditional heart and
a more unusual knot.
I will continue to create uniquely designed jewellery with symbolic meaning.
