David Braunsberg was born in London in 1959 and has high-functioning autism. At secondary school he was recognised for having a talent for Art, and subsequently in 1977, went on to study a 3 -year Diploma Course in Textile Application Techniques, Art and Design, at the London College of Furniture. Since then he has worked with many different materials, and now uses various hand painting techniques on silk and other sustainable materials. He also designs his own greetings cards. His main inspiration comes from nature, architecture, and artefacts, which are interpreted using exciting colour combinations and hues. “The world around us is a feast for the eye”
