As an architect, I was involved with many commercial and residential projects throughout London & the Home Counties. Very often, this required creative refurbishment to bring empty and dilapidated buildings back to life. I was also a consultant to the Pharmaceutical Industry, helping to develop the FlexiLab principle to speed up medical research.
I paint predominantly in watercolour. Generally, I like to paint places which I feel are calm and inviting, although I am now also experimenting with portraying movement and energy. For the past ten years I have been attending weekly art classes, most recently in Whetstone under Paul Regan, who is now the joint vice president of the Royal Watercolour Society.
