HGS Spring Art Fair May 2023

We held our fifth Art Fair at Fellowship House on 20th and 21st May. This was presided over by Valerie Cowan who took over from founding chair Diana Brahams last year. The weather stayed dry and warm and several hundred people form the Suburb and further afield came to buy and browse the art and crafts exhibited by more than twenty local artists.

Outdoors, member and art teacher, Vera Moore, held art workshops for children.

The Finchley Women’s Institute provided delicious refreshments and the funds they raised went to local charities, namely Grief Encounter (which supports bereaved children and young people) and Barnet Age UK.
