About This Project
Crina Gatehouse is a local amateur painter who is inspired by natural dynamics and beauty and tries to present such qualities in her oil and acrylic painting work.

Crina always had an admiration for nature and its laws, experimenting with painting using tempera and watercolours from a young age, capturing landscapes and still life. She studied fundamentals of drawing and abstract painting using oils and acrylics during evening classes at the Hampstead School of Art.
Crina won the 2019 Alex Halfin Painting Challenge. Crina appreciates artistic challenges and hopes that painting could be a priority at retirement, following many years’ work in the regulatory world.
