Linda Freedman
About This Project
Linda began painting later in life and went on to complete an Advanced Fine Art Diploma at the Hampstead School of Art. She is studying for her Masters in Fine Art at Brighton University.
Her work has developed from painting into mixed media; often using everyday materials such as string, modelling paste, liquid latex, sea sponges and found objects.
She enjoys exploring ordinary domestic things- food, coffee cups, birds and animals. She also uses mixed media in her landscapes, often with the materials found there in her compositions and turning them into sometimes playful and unexpected pieces,
She likes to use memory, humour and colour in her everyday work.
Her work has been selected for several group shows, art fairs and exhibitions in London and in Sussex
